Salesforce Use Cases Course Release, and 2026 Plans
Happy new year! I am excited to bring you this update that lays out our plans for the year and notes our recent late 2025 course release.
Salesforce: Introduction to Use Cases and Customizations
Our new course that marks the third entry in the Salesforce for business professionals series, Salesforce: Introduction to Use Cases and Customizations, does a hands-on deep dive into how Salesforce can be adapted as a software platform for virtually any industry. The course released onto the Pluralsight platform back on December 12th, 2025.
Nearly 2,000 lines of example code were written for the course, which the learner never has to look at, which helps create examples throughout the course that demonstrate how different use cases might work for Salesforce's automation capabilities. For anyone who uses Salesforce in their job role and they're new to the platform, this course should serve as an eye-opening experience that shows off just how flexible Salesforce is, and give that person a better understanding of how to collaborate with their IT organization in starting new projects or making enhancements.
Plans for 2026
As Elega Corporation proceeds onward into 2026, we continue to face an uncertain economic environment where interest rates are high for a prolonged period of time, the United States spirals around economic depression (and is almost certainly in recession), and small businesses are struggling to stay afloat. We see challenges on all fronts: the premium IT training industry continues to face bombardment from advancements in artificial intelligence, the cost of borrowed capital for diversifying investments is high, and the games industry has been in dire straits with tens of thousands of layoffs and multiple major studio closures.
It's always been my intention to diversify Elega Corporation against this headwinds knowing that they would arrive sooner or later but executing on that in practice has proven very difficult. Fortunately, we are seeing some renewed opportunities in Pluralsight, which I have mentioned here on the blog last year, and the new courses are helping us to steer the bottom line back toward higher revenue. The work on that part of the business will certainly continue throughout the next 4 to 6 months: we currently are in talks with Pluralsight to produce 2 more courses with some hope for additional opportunities to follow.
Clearly, the new courses are a temporary remedy from a business perspective, and something must change in the current environment in terms of strategy. I have begun work on that immediately, and it involves the creation of new products that are entering the development pipeline now. We expect to make announcements regarding at least one of these new product offerings later this year.
Kalling Kingdom's Upcoming New Version
It's been a long time coming and a lot of discussion about what's coming for Kalling Kingdom but again I want to emphasize my focus on this project for 2026. As a result of our updated business strategy, we're shifting the way that we plan to release the updated version of Kalling Kingdom, which has been ported out of the Unity engine into our own custom game engine (which internally is called the 'Aperture Engine').
We plan to launch the new version of the game, which will have a number of new features and systems, as its own release as a brand new title. Our intention will be to provide current owners of the original game to receive the new game at zero cost to them through a bundled deal offering. In addition, it is our plan to de-list the original version of the game upon the new version's release, as the new version will become the definitive way to play Kalling Kingdom and be considered the completed version of the game.
We will have more to announce on this at a later time but for now: know that it is an increasingly high priority and is in active development alongside our production of new Pluralsight courses. To stay up to date on Kalling Kingdom and its new version in development, please make sure to regularly visit its website, KallingKingdom.com.
Conclusion
Thanks for reading! We look forward to bringing you more updates here on the Elega Corp blog very soon! Thank you to all of our current customers and course learners for helping us be in business for all these years and we hope you have a great 2026!
